On 19th and 20th June, EPIC is hosting a stall and launch event at the Royal Highland Show in the Scottish Government marquee, Avenue Q, stand 305.
EPIC Stall
Visit EPIC’s stall on Thursday and Friday to step beyond the data and into real-world experiences that reveal how EPIC is making a difference in epidemiology and disease control. Visitors to the EPIC stall will have the opportunity to speak with scientists and learn more about EPIC’s collaborative work with farmers and Scottish Government to improve future risk resilience.

On Friday, 20 June at 1pm, we welcome RHS guests to attend “Don’t Risk It: Personal Imports of Animal and Plant Products,” an animation launch event hosted jointly by EPIC, Centre of Expertise on Animal Disease Outbreaks, and Scotland’s Plant Health Centre (PHC). The event will launch an informative animated video highlighting the risks of disease spread when bringing animal and plant products into Great Britain from other countries. EPIC and PHC researchers will also present specific examples of how personal imports impact plant and animal health.
