EPIC has developed a number of important international and national scientific collaborations which are likely to have a big impact on Scotland's animal health.
For example: EPIC scientists at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) are working with the European Space Agency to develop methods to measure risks of vector-mediated diseases (such as Lyme disease); EPIC personnel from The James Hutton institute, Moredun Research Institute, the University of Glasgow and University of Stirling are working together to use economic approaches to improve sheep scab control. Members of EPIC (SRUC) are also involved in a leading role in the innovative Agri-tech Innovation Centre.
