In recent years awareness of Ovine Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma (OPA/Jaagskiete) in sheep flocks has increased, and more farmers are seeking ways to control the disease. Despite this significant stigma still exists in the diagnosis of OPA and farmers report several limitations that may reduce the uptake of transthoracic ultrasound scanning. Over the course of these two webinars vets and researchers will share the latest developments in OPA awareness, diagnosis, and control.
Join us on Tuesday 8th February at 7.30 pm to learn more about awareness of OPA from SRUC veterinary epidemiologist Dr Sue Tongue and the value of cull ewe screening from Heather Stevenson, SRUC veterinary investigation officer.
