ECVPH AGM & Annual Scientific Conference 2017

European College of Veterinary Public Health Annual conference: "Science at the service of Veterinary Public Health to gain expertise in controlling Emerging risks in Veterinary Public Health " and will be held at the Academic Hall of the University of Liège, Liège/BE, on 2-4. October 2017.

The conference will cover topics focusing on new and re-emerging risks and diseases, their control and the connected future role and responsibility of VPH in an ever-changing and dynamic food- and animal health policy landscape. There will be ample opportunity to interact informally with experts in the field, from within and outside of the College, and also to enjoy the interesting and beautiful city of Liège.

Sue Tongue (SRUC) will present work carried out under the RESAS Strategic Work Programme on: "The prevalence of verocytotogenic E. coli O157 (VTEC O157) in British cattle populations"

Lisa Boden (University of Glasgow) will chair the Challenge Session: 'Providing Science for policy', in which Dominic Mellor (University of Glasgow) will participate.
